Research Engineer Sony CSL – Paris

Amaury Delort

Bio

Today, Amaury combines his experience in art, data, and computer music to collaborate with researchers, artists, and creators, exploring the future of music technology.

While studying arts management at Audencia Business School, from which he graduated in 2015, he was working on his first album in his spare time and released it in 2014 (Oudler – Exam Room One). That same year, he spent a semester at Miami University, where he first encountered computer music. Inspired, he returned to France and earned a master’s degree in computer music at Université Jean Monnet de Saint-Étienne.

Although Amaury continues working on his own music, he realized that he was even more drawn to the intersection of creativity and technology. He spent a couple of years as a freelance computer music consultant, developing musical installations. In 2018, he joined Sony Computer Science Laboratories Paris, becoming a research engineer in 2022, with a strong focus on data preparation.
