Digital creation workflows for music have recently seen some pretty drastic changes due to the advent of AI-assisted creativity tools. From VSTs to composition tools, new changes occur everyday, making the modern producer and performer more efficient and creative thanks to AI. My research interests as a multidisciplinary musician, vocalist, mix engineer and producer aim at bringing the two worlds together even further, by looking into AI-assisted tools that integrate seamlessly into the flow of musical creation. Though I am interested in many topics, such as source separation, automatic tagging, representation learning, vocal synthesis and automatic symbolic composition, Currently, I am working on generating signal-domain music, based on existing audio accompaniment in a performance setting.
