Drawing with my voice

In this talk, we will present our artistic collaboration with the French singer/producer DeLaurentis, for which we built a system which generates visuals that she can control directly with her voice on stage. The live performance has been showcased for the Paris AI Summit at Ministère de la Culture. The technical solution builds upon Alain’s work on real-time pitch estimation and Alexis’ generative algorithms. We will detail the proposed method and show the results, highlighting the methodological differences between fundamental research and creative applications.
