Caroline Hobkinson is an anthropologist exploring and investigating the interrelationships between Tech, Food, Art and the Senses. Born in Cologne in 1979, trained at Central Saint Martin’s in Fine Art and SOAS in the Anthropology of Food, she has been creating events and installations, in galleries, museums and public spaces worldwide. She has published and co-authored numerous research and academic papers on the neuroscientific workings of eating and sound and conducted anthropological research into sustainable food and drink habits and rituals.
