Photonic Accelerators for Large Scale Computing

Exploiting light propagation is an environmentally friendly strategy for accelerating computational tasks at a large scale, including combinatorial optimization and machine learning. Photonic devices may be the backbone of the new generation of computing hardware. We will briefly review some of our experiments for applications including Ising machines, security, and classification tasks.
