By bringing together diverse approaches and perspectives, interdisciplinary research can help identify unexplored paths to address the challenges raised in the complex field of sustainability.
My role at CSL is to identify nascent fields of research that benefit from multiple discipline inputs (including physics, chemistry and biology). I contribute by bringing competences in computer science and machine learning through collaborations with academia. During my PhD thesis in collaboration with the team of CPBMV (ENS PSL), I have worked on the development of methodologies to probe plant’s health remotely using fluorescence.
Reciprocally, I identify new tools that can be useful in multiple fields, for example fluorescent protein to calibrate light sources or softwares to ensure reproducibility of experiments.
